  • I am Terry, an illustrator artist, digital designer (BA Hons University of Brighton) and co-founder of a gaming studio in Brighton. I will answer this question: Why does immersing your audience with playful visuals help?

    -Entertaining illustrations trigger a faster and stronger reaction than words

    In 2015, I presented stories from American and Scottish myths to my friends. From this experience, I learnt that immersive storytelling is a great marketing tool. I discovered wearing the t-shirts whilst telling the story helped with:

    Maintaining their attention by stimulating their imagination

    Motivated them to ask further questions to learn more story details

  • Around the same time, I learnt how to combine illustrations, logos, branding and merchandise into cohesive campaigns by working as a graphic design intern at Bamb Creative and Bird Blend Tea. My work experience creating fun stories for projects taught me that immersive branding and marketing makes the difference. In this saturated world, storytelling and playful graphics communicate that you are authentic and approachable.

    I have used this knowledge to help charities, small start-ups and businesses to use illustration to promote their name and idea. I want to help you to create the graphics to get your message stick in your audiences’ long term memory.

My process for making engaging projects

We will arrange a 1-hour onboarding session for me to understand everything about your project, company, deadlines, topic, story, audience, and market. I will create and share a project document detailing everything discussed, including a tailored guide to how I will be tackling your project.

I will then unearth the core elements of your project with the details supplied to sketch the ideas. During this process, you will receive:

  • Rough and best sketches

  • Graphic styles and narrative detail sheet

  • Updated project document with further findings and thoughts about strategy

  • An optional session for us to refine ideas and further develop a tailored strategy

I will then create the assets to build a bridge between you and your audience. We will have time to review and amend the designs. I will provide you with visually stunning content that grabs customers' attention when final payment has been made.
