Content Club - Digital art and web
Content Club is run by a regular Ted X talker, Toby Moore. Toby has created a community for local businesses to improve their content strategy and customer engagement. I partnered with him for 2 months in 2019 to help his company create artwork for digital art and web use.
Story and idea
At the beginning of the partnership, I provided a design catalog of my retro designs. Toby and his programmer, Alex, were fascinated by the City Slang graphic illustration app graphics. With the focus on digital illustrations, I issued him with 2 graphic illustration strategies. There was a common agreement that illustrations with 1 or 2 characters was the correct direction for Content Club.
Through intense discussions, we nailed down the illustrations we needed. Since Toby Moore is the core figure for the Meet Up group, I thought having Toby and Alex should appear on multiple graphics. Illustrations using same character are more consistent and cohesive. With that, we went ahead to use Toby and Alex as guides and characters for the overall project.

Story and idea
I integrated my visual style with other appropriate styles to conceptualise something fun but professional. The side show the many revisions of the graphics . I focused on making a range of graphics that will enable Toby to develop content for digital application.
This project was great. I was able to provide multiple solutions to his problem. Exploring and understanding the direction of Content Club resulted in Toby receiving a tool box filled with graphics to help Content Club grow.
